So I am in the planning stages of my first build and would love some insight. I think I'm going with a 4x2x2 in 1/2" Cast Acrylic with a Eurobrace. I would like to do an in-tank filter but this is not mandatory if yall think its a bad idea. My house is raised 2 feet off the ground and was built in the 1930s. The spot for the tank would be right next to a support beam but not on top of it.
Do yall think I need to brace underneath? I don't think so, but I'm open to hear from the experts.
Would a 2" wide eurobrace be enough?
Does the eurobrace need to be 1/2" think or would smaller work?
I'm in south Louisiana, any suggestions on where to get the cast acrylic? If not then where would I order from?
