He is getting more and more beautiful! Love the short face, boxy body, color, and those fins! Those fins and tail are WOW! The kok is definitely progressing! Kamfas develop kok slowly. He’s gonna be a stunner for sure!
I fast mines for one day a week even at that size. Makes them feisty as all hell and even though it may seem counterproductive it actually brings out the kok. You’ll see it the day after when you feed again.

Your welcome my man! We have good taste. Lol. He reminds me of a kamfa my LFS had when he first started importing flowerhorn. It was the most beautiful flowerhorn and I adored it. More purplish than red like that one with a fat kok. That fish is a future mp. Take care of our fish! Lol.

Thank you. I tried fasting him for half day, he was jumping all over the tank, hitting hood, thinking silicon or water spots are food. I think he might injure himself at this stage if I keep him hungry for q day.

Yeah I fast my guy 1-2 days a week.
It's hard to ignore his begging and dancing for food. It's really difficult not to feed him, but I believe it's good for his gut/digestive system. It also makes him much more active. Luckily he doesn't bang around like yours ?

Maybe a tad bit. I’d cut down the feeding a little bit and have one fasting day biweekly at the size he is.

I will reduce 1-2 pellets. Feeding is twice a day, I fast by skipping one once a week.

Thanks, I would slightly reduce it for now. Fed him some peas to see if it is constipation as he started looking more fat since 2 days ago.
