This summer in going to spend most of my time down the beach! Surfing skimming fishing Spending the evenings on the boardwalk. And all that fun beach stuff

I agree! I did a week of 6-hour-a-day band camp, then quit band all together just to avoid having to do the next week of band camp, which was going to be 12 hours, 9AM to 9PM and I have really bad flat feet, which probably made it 10x worse for me than it was for the others.

I can’t say which one is harder, but hiking the half-dome is no joke. You are hiking 16 miles literally up and down VERY RUGGED MOUNTAIN TRAIL in ONE day. Imagine hiking on LARGE cobble stones for 13 out of the 16 miles in 100 degrees. That is the half-dome hike.

My band camp was 12 hours of marching every single day for a week. We went away for band camp so on top of the physical torture we had to sleep on plastic mattresses with NO AIR CONDITIONING and crappy food. ROLL STEPPING WITH A TROMBONE = PURE HELL. Yeah I hated it but most of my favorite high school memories are from band camp and i kinda miss it.
