its just hair algee you can clean it by hand and if you dont want to do that just put a little placo in there and it will most likely clean it for you

iv had a common pleco in there for a while,befor the alge started growing.i sti;l cant post any pics,but the alge seems to be getting sparse but growing in more places.im gonna try the chinese alge eater,and see if my fish dont kill him

i think the pleco ate some and got sick.he was acting weird.if he dies,that will be the second pleco in two months.im not buying another one for it.i got a chinese algae eater and when he was in the bag,my little oscar was trying to eat him.he'll eventually get eaten im sure.hopefully he'll eat some algae befor he goes.
Many labeos do eat hair algae. Redtail black sharks, rainbows, whitefins, black sharks. Also Amano shrimp will eat it.
the black hair algae needs to be cut off plants and removed by hand and do a water change and clean filters. If its what i'm thinking of it reproduces by spores and not many fish will eat it. Plecos and rosie barbs won't eat it. A SAE might eat it but wouldn't hold your breath. If you want to try a fish I would try the florida flag fish. Eats almost all algae and can live in extreme water parameters
