not cabomba... I had that stuff before. Reddish/brown color. Grows like a week. I had to get rid of it because i grew too fast!

Sorry I don't have the name but its not cabomba for sure...
 
That's exactly what I leaned towards. I never bought my piece so I have no real idea what it is. BUT, I KNOW what you've got is what I had.

I got the plant as a 2" piece with some shrimp I ordered... Within 2 weeks in my planted tank, it was over 12". Then, it took root and overtook an entire half of my 60g within a month and half.

I ended up pulling it all out because I had to trim it every week which got annoying.

I actually kind of miss it now... lol go figure huh
 
Thanks man :) .It grows so fast...I got the plant from a local lake.There are milions of M.Spicatum there...

By the way,Do you think that is valisneria? [other 2 pics]
