Plant ID's (need some reassurance)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Turns out the little fern isn't terrestrial at all! It's Rorippa aquatica.

I have to go buy the other two they had, I love this little plant! Weird, asymmetrical leaves, very unique looking.

I work at a petco and just letting everyone know that it all depends on the aquatic people that are working there. We get them from a place that sells us desert, terrarium, and aquatic plants. Then when they ship them the invoice and box are marked differently. Sometimes the box will be marked terrarium but invoice says aquatic and other times it is other way around.

From one who actually has to recieve them it is hard to tell and even i make mistakes when putting them away. Also you wouldnt believe some of the stuff the company claims to be aquatic. best aquatic plants to get there are loose ones IMHO

I can confirm for you that it is indeed the emersed form of Hygrophila difformis.

Awesome, thanks for the confirm.

I should post an updated pic because the top half of the plants are now submersed wisteria :D
