Thanks RM. I wanted to start with the 40 breeder as it actually gets some direct sunlight. Still planning out what I want to do on my 180.

Well I finished it up. Hard plumbed the discharge. Planted the pothos around the outer edge of the planter until I figure out a "center piece" plants.

Anybody tried wild onions yet? I have them growing everywhere in my yard so I figured I'd toss a few in.

How far below the surface of your grow bed does your water rise to?

Bout an inch. My media wicks water up so it is all damp. Makes for a little bit of evaporation but is excellent for starting seeds.

I do not recommend using the 8.5 watt leds unless you plan to have them within 12 inches of the plants.. even then I don't think they have enough lumens. I swapped out to 2 shop lights, one bulb in each running the red spectrum, the other the blue. The light difference is staggering.
