plant wolf fish

new wolf fish. 6 incher. i have loose plants at the top of my tank. he hides most of the day in the plants and when hungry comes down to chomp on the minnows. would it stress him out if i took out the plants where he hides in. kinda getting sick of .. i dont get to see him as much.

well most wolfs are very shy and takes a lot of time for it to get used to the tank..ive had mine for quite a bit n honestly id say its still not completely comfortable..if u want to take the plants out..den have something else in the bottom so it can hide in it..maybe a big drift wood?

Leave the plants and you'll see more of the fish in the long run

I would leave the plants because it will make him more comfortable and less shy in the long run

thanks guys. i came home today and all the feeders were gone. lol. not to shy when im not around.

I think wolves need plants to be happy and to hunt... Mine loves plants and he uses those a lot when he hunts
