Those aren't embers.
Definitely a rasbora or rainbow. I think rasbora. I don't know them well so I couldn't tell you though.

Less algae, lost a shrimp, ludwigia and Monte Carlo is growing but slowly, Rotala is growing fast.
Added temporary micro sword(will be moved to another tank later), rotala macrandra or whatever it is to see if it survives, and a amazon sword plantlet from a different tank in a pot so it can grow.
My tank is now balanced as most of the existing algae is from before.

Tank looks a little empty with only 5 fish and 1 shrimp(lost 1 to jumping out). Want to add some other fish since the rasboras take cover a lot in the plants, and the gouramis almost seem nocturnal, but don’t know if I should.
The rasboras and gourami should get comfortable eventually. Some fish take a while before they venture out
