I was going to say your light fixture doesn't span the length of the tank. What kind of bulb is that? And what color spectrum?

rescaped and got new plants today. its still a little dusty because i put i the plants about an hour ago

You should trim off any of the damaged leaves on your sword plant as plants cannot repair their leaves. If you trim off the leaf, the plant will benefit by putting it's resources into producing new chutes, instead of maintaining damaged leaves.
