the exo terra seemed a bit pricey to me at first, but i got the tank as a gift, and its amazing.
it has constant airflow, and the wiremesh on the top is steal, so it isn't melted by the bulb, and no paint chips away or anything.
the background seemed a bit permanent at first, but its amazingly useful and looks great.
the large front door at first i thought would screw up my ability to see in it, i was wrong, it makes cleaning it easier cause i can really reach in there and mess around, arranging things from a side view rather than a top view, so i can make it look better.
As for the plants, I don't know what they are called, however they are both hardy, I water them daily, and they are tropical and need the heat in the tank, making them perfect.
I got one at Canadian tire for 5 bucks with a cool pot lol. and the other broad leaf one I got cut from one of my mom's plants, she grew it out for me and i put it in the tank with a small waterfilled vase with some gravel, and its already growing.

I was thinkin about getting one of those, but I wanted something bigger than they had. Do you know what sizes they come in? I always used tanks on turned up their side before. I think it would be nice to have a door right in the front like that.
