just wondering what the maintenance is like on a heavily planted tank like these?

adding water once every week or two to keep the filters from splashing. other then that, nothing really for me. feed the fish, clean the glass once a month. maybe a water change if i feel like it. my 20 hasnt seen a wc yet and its been up since october.
I got bored this weekend. So I set up a little planted tub. My main tank is planted but I didn't feel like redoing anything in there so I built up this little tank and threw a Betta in there for good measure.
wow great pictures every one, thanks for the inspiration, i think my tank is heading to look somthing like mattys, but maybe with a few more pieces of wood in it thanks for the pics guys keep them cumming.
