Planted tank Question

I'm having problems with a 10 gallon planted.Every fish i add is dead within 24 hours.Have some kinda of snails showing up i never put any in.Plants are doing great.But fish keep dying.Test kit is Red Sea fresh lab deluxe.Is there should test for?Or am i just looking at a tank break down and starting over?
PH = 7.4

NH3/NH4+ = 0

NO2 = 0

FE =.5

GH = 10 medium hard

KH = 6 " "

CO2 =7ppm

What is the setup like? Are the fish acting strangely while they are still alive???

Well the snails are from the plants. A good portion of the time when you buy plants there are snail eggs attached since they are usually grown with snails. After they are planted the snails will appear a few days/weeks later. I've gone through quite a few snail infestations but if you nip it early its not bad.

No they act normal.I just find them dead the next day.The temp is at 80.Just a penguin power filter,this and this light

Um, what are the nitrites and nitrates? Are you using any fertilizer? What substrate?

are the fish gasping for air. if so you have to much CO2

nitrites NO2 = 0

nitrates .2

Substrate is eco complete.Been using flora24 and flora gro.
no fish don't gasp for air.

I'm afraid you have a mystery on your hands. Testing would require several micro nutrient tests to get more info. What are you KH and GH values at??

There is some missing piece to the puzzle. Try using a hardy fish like a con or betta. If even they die, then I'd suspect some heavy metal.
