Planting a 180 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh, just throw down the $ for the co2. I avoided it for a long time and it's really worth it. I got a whole system for $80. It's really easy.

IMO, a tank looks better with fewer species in larger numbers. Schooling fish look best in large schools.

I've decided not to add plants anyways. Plus I don't like the risks of a CO2 system if anything goes wrong. I have decided to get a stingray again so the few plants that are in there now are going to go in a 10 gallon with some black neons I'm going to try and breed.

If anyone is curious here is the new stocklist:

13 Angelfish (have 7 now)
1 Reticulated Stingray
1 Peacock Eel
3 Giant Danio
5 Australian Rainbowfish
1 Senegal Bichir
1 African Knifefish
5 Clown Loach
5 Yoyo Loach
1 Geophagus
5 Bala Shark

As the fish grow, I will move various fish out to keep stocking at the correct levels.
