True indeed that starter kit will catch anything from crappie, YP, trout, bass, CP, northerns, and just about anything swimming in freshwater !!!!

Just fished my little spot in North Carolina and it was super SLOW but I managed one and missed one....

Going to give it one more try in the morning !!

Went out this evening to a place called Lake Mohawk. My dad and I caught at least a dozen fish each. They were only perch and bluegill, but they fought good and were decent size!

Fish landed-1

Fished at my little spot in North Carolina and MANN was it a slow day. I managed one little dink and missed one on the spinnie!!!

Even with the lack of catches I still had fun, plus it beats a skunk !!!

Fish landed-4

Well I started the day off by arriving at Lake Johnson at 7:30 just to find out they dont let people rent boats until the air temp is atleast 45 degress. So I fished the dock and the pier for about 20 minutes until I couldnt stand it NOMORE. So my little brother and I went back to my other little spot from the day before, where I was able to land two little dinks before returning back to Lake Johnson. To add insult to injury they forgot to charge the batteries so I rented a boat with low battery life, but I was ok with it cause I only paid ten dollars to fish for five hours(should of been $50). Anyway the bite was slow(muddy water) but after three hours of no bites I went into my bag of tricks and a bright orange crank bait was the ticket. So in the last two hours I was able to land two decent 13-14"ers !!!!!

Only landed four but ha for two spots I really dont know well mixed with the time of the year it could of been worst !!! :headbang2

Fish landed-1

Fished Rosedale after work and landed a decent spinner bait bass and missed a crappie. Kayakers reported some trout.crappie and bass earlier in the day but the time left before dark was pretty slow. As I was leaving I bumped into a fellow "MFK'er" named simone123 I believe. Its always cool when somebody says "a are you the that from MFK" !!!!

Fishing season is about to be in full swing !!!!
