ill be headin to miami july 6th until sunday night taking the red eye home. whats everyones thoughts on fishing down there? should i just get a guide? id love to go for lmb and peacocks

Fish landed-23, Dennis-16
The bite was decent right off the back but the story was the same the whole trip, we only cuaght non spawners ranging from 8-14"s.
Decent numbers but i dont believe we seen one over two pounds.......

Fish landed-26, Dennis-9, Juan aka Jpwolf-2
For tonights trip Dennis and I had a shipmate in the form of another fellow MFK'er. Dennis jumped out on a two nothing lead then I believe Juan got his first, I stayed calm and was able to break the ice with the jiggy jig" shortly after. From there Dennis did his thing with the popper, also I was able to land a decent CP(#5) on the popper too. Juan caught his second an final fish on the popper as well in the form of a very nice 2.10 bass. Once the sun went down I believe it was Dennis-5, Juan-2, and I had 7. Between then and 5:30 am I would hit one here and there with a few coming back to back but for the most part the bite was spread out specially after 2am. My top four landed was a 2.6, 3.4, 3.9. and a 4.2, plus I let about ten jump off the hook
Dennis and I pack it in and hopped over to Etra where we fished from 6:45-10. I was only able to land three but one was a 2.9 !!!!
Night fishing was the best trip of the year, four pound club baby !!!!!

6-14 was a hour and half trip out to the college of NJ were I was able to land one on the popper and one the chatter bait..........
6-17(today) was a quick walk down the D&R canal at lower ferry Rd were i got lucky and with a small dink that hopped out a brush pile on the poipper......
Nothing to write home about but ha it beats a shunk !!!

Since I started this "Fishing season" thing back in 09" I believe I've proved that I do my thing when it comes to chasing Lmb an other fw fish. Since 04' I've gotten better and better each year. If I ever get my deep water fishing up, it will be a rap....
