Swords are great just use rubber bands to tie them to some deco

I used fishing line to tie them to a stone about the size of the root ball. I moved one today and the fishing line had disintegrated but the plant has stayed put (til I moved it, lol). My Oscars dig around their nest, but don't bother anything else. I just don't put any plants where they like to lay their eggs.

Most all of the plastic plants sold on eBay have ceramic weighted bases. Some are even look like root balls so if they are dug up a bit they still look good until you can push them back down.

It's what I have in my tank and they work great with Oscars. The quality appears to be better than store bought also.
