when plants pearl that means there is to much O2 in the water so it forms a bubble corect? if so does that mean i should up the amount of CO2 being put into the tank?

also a side question is it bad to have plants touching your heater?

thanks in advance for the help.

When plants pearl that mean that you have got optimal growing conditions (light, ferts and CO2 are in perfect balance) and the plants are photosynthesizing at such an fast pace that the O2 forms bubbles on the leaves. I wouldn't change a thing.

About the heater, if your plants are just brushing up against it briefly, probably not. If they're touching it constantly you might get some burn marks where they're touching.

ok with the heater thing i how can i avoid that caz im hopeing to be very very planted so they will be touching it almost constantly. can i put my heater under the substrate? it is a titanium heater.

I wouldn't put it in the substrate, it might over heat and short out. Just try to find a gap in your plantings and slide it in there.

ok thanks for the help. now i just need to do a big order on plants usualy i deal with wyld caz he lives close to me so i dont have to pay for shipping but he is low on plants so ill have to find a new place.

I have bio wheel filter with a sump, and I keep my heater in there so it is never seen. If you have a similar type setup, you could do the same.

What about when bubbles are streaming out of a plant?

You could try a heater guard
