Plants

I have a few plants, I usualy kill any member of the plantae kingdom that enters my house.:D I have never had luck with bonzi trees either. I snapped a few pics i got an aloe vera from wal-mart, some special vine mom gave me a few months ago, and a collection of wal-mart cactuses. There was a prickely pear in the middle but it friggin rotted now i have to find something to fill that giant empty space in the middle!

dammit its not a stoner thread,V Im ashamed,lol.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Anyways,something is really pithing me off now.A few stores here are selling almost all their cacti with ugly fake little flowers GLUED on to the top of the plants.:nilly::irked::nilly::irked::irked:.I have got to get a cam so I can start showing you guys all the jacked up stuff I see.

does that botom box have drain holes.Cacti dont like to sit in wet pots for long,especialy if its indoors or winter and not getting much sun.
 
well,I didnt want a stoner thread but this is kind of funny.About 4 years ago my freind gave me a small cacti he said was related to peyote.I would never do that crap,I think,but after a little searching I found what it is.I got like 6 feet of it and it grows babies all the time,lol.http://www.botanic-art.com/product_info.php?products_id=624
 
no holes, mabye thats why the prickely pear died! Thanks for the tip. I know what your talking about with the glued of flowers, the tall green one on the right had two yellow flowers glued on it, i just plucked them off. I also see lots of cacti that are stuck together, i forget the term for that its grafting or something like that. Are the peyote cacti legal to keep? not that i want one just wondering, lol
 
Im not really sure.For the sake of MFK I say that I by no means am I saying to do anything with this plant other than grow it where permitted.I may look that up in a few.If I find out its not allowed Im going to go out back and chop it down..................Then eat it:grinno:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,IDk Im just growing it because I like the plant and its a bit more unique.However imagine eating the thing and then paddling a surfboard as far out into the sea as you could until who knows what happens,lol.Wonder what your mind would be up to.

a lot of cacti and succulants do flower. are you shore they were fake??

no drainage is onlt one problem. anouther is the box is way to deep and large for cact. they neeed to be pot bound. tomuch room will cause problems. also what kind of soil are you useing. add some sand for better drainage. when you water let the soil dry COMPLETELY and them water thoroughly

that ''speacial ivy'' is called pothos. they like low light. you can let them slightly dry between watering
