i hav a filter idea..will this work

I have uploaded the image of the filter..It basically consists of 3 PVC large diameter pipes..i want ur opinion whether it will work or not..
the length of 2 inside pipes is 20 cm and
outside biggest pipe length is 25 cm..
the arrow marks are holes in the pipes through which water flows out..
the pump i wanted use is the pump of power head filter..this is my first DIY idea.

This is kept above the tank..i know it looks bad but there is no problem with siphon and pretty cheap except for pump and i am planning to use powerhead filter as pump

Till you build your 66 gl tank i'd give back most of the fish. How long till your 66gl is built?

now they are not even 5 cm long...
