When you gonna pellet train them? Still see they are still hooked on feeders bro.

there are no sinking pellets available around here, and as soon as those feeders are finished, I will give them earthworms or crickets, and sometimes market shrimps or chop fish fillet. I always do this to give them variety on their diets. The only pellets available around is floating pellets which will cloud and stink the water. Feeders are OK as long as they are quarantined with proper medications, though they may be not as healthy as prepare foods. Most breeders here are still using them to raise young bichirs.

Hmm every tried handfeeding your bichirs?

I feed mine FD krill with long forceps (screw them, no matter how hard I tried, they refuse to do surface feeding and expects food to come to them at the bottom, pampered brats). You could try on floating pellets too.
Just a suggustion though :D

actually, ages ago before I sold out all my previous stocks, all my bichirs used to eat floating pellets, it took me about 2 weeks or less. I supposed I could train my current bichirs to do so, but it will cost me more water change. I did hand feed my sens before, and it only worked with sen at that time, while others were just freakin out when my hand close to them. Crickets are good for their diets as well, they are mostly floating when you drop them in the tank, but bichirs will accept them better than floating pellets.
