My brothers birthday is in a week and wanted to get him something exotic
And his favorite fish is an alligator gar
So I wanted to get him a platinum alligator gar because sure he will really love that!
So does anyone have one for sell or know someone who sells one?

Does he have a very large pond? No tank can handle a alligator gar. (unless your one of these 15000+ diy builds I see on here!)

3000 Gal doesn't seem enough to keep it for life though. IMO if you can't get a big enough pond to house an Alligator gar, you don't have enough money to even buy a platinum and finding one at 5-6'' is not possible!
 
I think a tropical gar is a more feasible option for you as it would be able to live in your 300 gallon aquarium for life & has the same build as an alligator gar. However, it is going to be more expensive & harder to find than a normal alligator gar, but it's still going to be cheaper than a platinum gar of any species. Also, you're not going to be able keep it in the pond year-round.
 
Platinum Alligator Gar=Grade A= is $15,000 without import fees and wildlife inspection.
Platinum Florida Gar is $3000 without import fees etc.
Tropical White Gar -intense white with limited black spotting on the tail- is $3,900 -includes fees but not shipping.
