just a dull arowana to me.

A true plantum is pure white, with dark eyes. does anyone have an albino aro?
SILLY ME FOR GOING OFF TOPIC AND NOT CHILLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh ok...just had to ask; because my 'dull' arowana is not a typical silver arowana, regarding their color.
besides, if a platinum arowana has dark eyes, are you implying the poster who added a picture of his plat. aro. isnt really what he is keeping?
Looks pretty typical to me lol. Eyes of a platinum aro are completely white except for the pupil which is solid black. As you can see in the pic of the plat. both these conditions are fulfilled. I dont see how that aro doesnt have dark eyes.

ok then, my arowana is a typical silver arowana.
case closed, right? what i mean is: by the videos - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6CDwpDfdl8 and - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYp3I1PRzis there is clearly a obvious difference.

You mean the one in the second video doesnt look platinum? From what I can see it doesn't have any other pigments other than the white and black so I would say its a plat. Im not too sure on aquatictrading's silver though. The top of the aro has scales which lack the white. Haven't seen enough plats to figure out if thats possible on a plat.

Not platinum. Platinum is PURE WHITE, no tint of any other colour.
not true as juviniles they have the red in the tail.. but fades as fish hits 25cm mark.. also true platinum silvers have platinum head also.. and scales are pure white as stated.. forgot to mention barbs are also white.;)

Yes it is a typical silver arowana. Juvenile's have more pink colouration than adults. I'm sorry but it's definitely not a platinum.
Also your 'signature' is lame. Are you going to quote me on there too because I didn't say your aro is amazing

Haha, your right. I'll redo it to when it said some thing along the lines of a lot MFK members need to relearn how to spell.
Now that sig will most def. Be more meaningful. Thanks.
Btw, why are you even caring what my sig says?
