Okay, the colour of the aro looks something like this. I grabbed a pic of a normal silver off google images and desaturated it in Photoshop. As close as it gets to the real thing now.

It's really hard to tell from the photo but doesn't look like a platinum, I think though that is besides the point, if you like it get it. It's highly unlikely to be one but if you like the fish it really shouldn't matter.

definitely not platinum. it looks like a black to me. the silvers i've seen, the head looks a little different at that size.
