As far as I know there is only one platinum aro in the world that's documented, the one at Aro dynasty, that doesn't mean more don't exist, they probably do.

You could be the luckiest person alive and have found one for sale and the LFS doesn't know what they've got, which would mean the wholesaler missed it and the exporter as well.

I truly hope it is one though. Looking forward to pics

Check out indo-dragon books and you'll find out that there is not just one plat aro that got documented.

It's not a true platinum. A true platinum will not ven show a single tint of redness on the finages or scales. I have been taking care of a platinum silver previously for years thus I know when I see one. That batch of so called platinum silvers are not true platinum. If it's true platinum, why would it be going at $188 and the quantity is that amble?:D

you heard the man lol

It's the best arowana book that have ever been published. Indo-dagon book 4 is the best of all. Although indo-dragon 5 is already been released I have not check it yet. You'll even get to see a one eyed asian arowna. Looks like a cyclope from greek methology.

Here check this link. http://www.indodragon.com/

Not too sure about that Koji. It doesn't have a single tint of redness on the fins or body. It's eyes are black, so it can't be albino right? Its whole look is a very very very slight tint of grey. Almost isn't grey in fact. But not like that of a black aro. The colour on it's body is really even and suttle throughout is scales and fins. And there is only 1 of that platinum arowana at the LFS. I've never seen such an aro. It's colour is neither like that of a silver or a black aro, which is what really puzzles me. And it being only $188 really doesn't help either. Silvers usually go for about $20-40 while blacks usually go for $250 to $300++ from what I know.

maybe its just a genetic deformation of color from incest inbreded aros and one that came in from the batch of silvers ordered....
