Hi MFKs... I'm try to stock my new 180g tank and I found this guy on eBay has a Platinum Blue Arowana 8"-10". What do you guys think? Is there such thing Platinum Blue? Black Arowana also has blue fins right? Also is that a fair price?

I saw one at my lfs a month ago. I was told it was a silver that had been dyed blue. The shop owner said that the "blue" and "strawberry" aros only live a couple years due to the dye. The one I saw was only 5"-6" and only $80.00. That being said the one I saw did not look as good as the one in the ebay picture.

The pictured arowana is a black arowana, not a dyed silveraro.

Its just a regular black in the pic (blue is the same as a black), price is too high too
