It's neither a Platinum or an Albino. Your friend has a Golden Clown Knife which can range from a light tan to light pinkish brown

Not a platinum or albino. Most likely an odd colour morph from an albino. It could be a gold knife, you'll know for sure if he starts developing silver stripes along his back.
