Enjoy

They're about 2-3" so what would the price for each fish be? Wanted to know if I paid too much

Local fish store charges about $45 a pop or 3 for $120. Very nice fish, I eventually want to go with a school of red Marlboros or red melons. Do you have any other discus beside the four? I like your idea of having one unlike the others. The platinum and blue diamonds should look really nice together once they get big

Thanks for the reply. I paid very close to that so not mad anymore lol No just the 4 I was going to get more but they only had bigger sizes and didn't want to spend 200$ on a single discus. They are two blues who always are together and move away from the other two. I love how they're so docile and peaceful. Also very easy to catch LOL!

looks like they already have the football shape going which is not a good sign along with large eyes based on body size. The best thing you can do now is massive water changes all the time and hope they are not stunted.

Hmm I got it from a breeder. He had a few hundred at the place. All of them looked the same at this size. Also went to different lfs and all of them looked the same at this size. The eye trick works but not for small juvenile fish. 2-3" is very small and talking about vertical but length

Maybe you're right or not but thanks for helping me out. You have pictures of your discus at this age?

it's hard to tell at that size pretty much, I used to own discus and bought plenty of low quality runts and stunters, even a few from reputable breeders. I also had Blue Diamonds and Pigeon Bloods which it usually happens to. The hardcore discus owners suggest daily water changes which is way too much for me. I couldn't keep up with the Water change regiment. Discus are really precious fragile type fish that need super clean water all the time or else they dont grow to full potential.

good luck though, they are still really cool with a group of 5 or 6.
