Very cool... that is like the Moby Dick of gars to John (snookn21) -- he claims to have spotted one a couple times that always evades his net.

It was very cool. Living in Colorado Ive never taken much interest in gars since I cant keep one, but this guy was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to the Downtown Aquarium.

Michael I havent seen the white longnose since march 2011. He was a huge 3 footer.
