vincentwugwg - can you breed these things??? has that happened in a tank?
pretty sure their force bred...one of our members does it with these platty gar... seent it on t.v. also lol... for conservation here in the states. u squeeze the gut of either parent to remove eggs/sperm then raise the eggs in tumblers. Not positive if the males are killed for their sperm or not :/. same process used 2 make hybrid catfish where they usually kill the specimen 2 harvest eggs.
