Platinum Jack Dempsey attempt

Photo update of the EBxGold pairing. Lots of fry, although I’m not seeing any golds so far. I was hoping that I might see some golds or platinums, but I think that might be next generation.
I have been keeping an eye on the electric blue Jack Dempsey breeding posts on this site for some time. I figured that it was time to sign up for an account. I had my first successful spawn containing electric blues about 6 weeks ago and they are growing nicely. I will attempt to post a picture of my male BGJD. I would like to move into the platinum jacks next, but I need to get my hands on some gold jacks first. It is nice to gain knowledge from this site. Thanks for the information.

My EBs come from a pair of two Blue Gene Jack Dempseys. The photo I posted is a cropped photo only showing the male. In this full photo you can see the female by her cave.
I bought the BGJDs as juveniles (1.5 inches or so). I also breed plecos and about a week after my cichlid fry become free swimming I add a few to the fry tank. They do a nice job of cleaning up the extra food left by the babies.
I do the same, they do a great job of keeping the tank clean.
