Since the blue gene in dempsey's is recessive the first clutch has just come out all gold JD's with a high mortality rate. It will be a few more years before he see's any results of actual cross coloration - if it even happens. More than likely he will just continue getting EBJD's and gold dempsey's, but it's worth a try.

Its kind of like what svtim said "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Well in that way which do you think is worth more based on the look or whether its nicer than regular ones. No it's not each has different characteristics in its look and some people like them while other's don't.

Now if we are talking financially then yes, it is worth more. Color morphs are harder to find.
