what about the finnages? what would a platinums be? on this one you cant faintly see the red specks in the fins , alos as you can tell in the picture theres that black outline of the fins.....

true plats have pure solid white finnages.

anything else is a fake.

the black areas could be due to pH burn.

And yes... there are ppl who have bought platinums at normal aro prices... its sheer luck.
A hobbyist here bought a small silver tt looked unusual fir a few bucks tt turned out to be a platinum.

sometimes LFS are ignorant. So its best if u have your own info handy.

my lfs gets them all the time. they will darken up over time.

this is what they said too abt the guy who got an unussual white silver. TURNED OUT REAL SNOW for a price of a regular one.
