Seller was legit offended when I asked whether was it a WTT bichir. Also, with regards to the black spotting, he said it'll disappear as it grows. What do you make of it?Atleast ask the seller to put it on a dark background and see what happens.
Well if you are a potential buyer then asking to place the fish on a black background will settle everything. The black spotting will go away as it gets bigger for a true platinum.Seller was legit offended when I asked whether was it a WTT bichir. Round 2 guys: true plat or WTT? First pic is Bichir #1, second and third pic are pics of Bichir #2. The black markings on the tail’s really clouding my judgment on this.

I genuinely had no idea that it was possible for an adult Bichir to shed all its pigmentation to blend in with the environment. Would think that it should retain at least some colouring even after WTTJust to show u guys/gals how the substrate or environment can make an impact. Its not related to whether its a platinum or not. It' a regular WC lap. Look at this below. See the drastic difference? Imagine generating an WTTP/ Plat opinion based off photos? Lol
