Platinum oscar?

But I wouldn't call it a gimmick tho if some one has produced a albino Oscar that has no red in it id be happy to call it a platinum. And yes I have looked at there web site many of times id like to get a copper Oscar.

Actualy "Platinum" called species are mean Leucistic, not albino. Albinism and Leucism is different. True albino should show red eyes and leucistic can hold natural eye color...
 
Im almost certain these fish will not retain that "platinum" color as adults. You might end up with with some very drab fish. If anyone has a pic of an adult of these please share.

Yes and that would be gimmicky, marketing ploy to get your fish sold. Would you call an albino angel a platinum? Two different colors entirely.
I get that the seller is trying to sell his fish, and can name it what they want. But its just a "little to no black markings" albino/leucistic Oscar. Its not a new strain.
