I don't think they are hating. They are just trying to clear things up. Usually the term "Platinum" is refering to a Leucistic fish. Leucistic Arowana are rare and very expensive. The OP did say he bought this Jardini at the same price of a 3" Jardini, which isn't much. I can see why they believe the fish isn't Leucistic, price is too cheap and fish should be snow white. Since the OP knows it's not Leucistic and he did say "not snow white but a pearl type white", so it's still beautiful fish! Therefore no need for hostility.
