I like sand or gravel in my display tanks. All my grow outs are bare bottom or pool filter sand, depending on bio-load, decor (if any) and size of the tank. Some tanks I like bare, it's just the style of fish keeping.freshwaterz;2429847; said:thanx....i really had no idea that it wasnt nessesary.
