totally off topic, but i cant help but to ask. where is your substrate?? i see alot of people dont have any, and i just dont understand why not.

substrate isnt really necessary. its easier to clean your tank without it. however, its a great place for beneficial bacteria to bed and looks better imo

I like sand or gravel in my display tanks. All my grow outs are bare bottom or pool filter sand, depending on bio-load, decor (if any) and size of the tank. Some tanks I like bare, it's just the style of fish keeping.
Good water and diet is all you need for healthy, happy fish.

yeah....i use pfs also, no cloudyness and nice size granuales.
