From my past college experiences, my roommates was quite aggressive over feeding and would actually chase the other fish around when they got to close to the food.
 
I may be wrong but I've heard their snouts bent and not an injury, and that just happens after they get big.
 
... and run into a fish tank wall. Apart from experts saying this is an injury, there are pictures of them having a normally shaped snout including adulthood, e.g., on Planet Catfish. Sadly, 90%+ are injured in captivity. It does not mean it is the norm.
