play sand

What kind of reptile do you have in mind?
 
I think it would be fine. Just make sure you get a bag from the middle of the pallet.
 
Ok was just wanting to make sure. I'm wanting to give him a new home and wanted to put sand in it and make it look aussie like. I know they make reptile specific sand but at 10 dollars a 5 lb bag that would be to expensive
 
its perfectly fine, just rinse it a bunch and youll be great
 
you really don't even have to rinse it since it is not going in an aquarium. I use it all the time. You will be fine.
 
I had a bearded that lived in play sand from Home depot no problems just dumped the bag in the tank and moved it around every once in a while. It will start to clump up next to the water dish.
 
I have used playsand with out any problems with beardies. You may want to plat safe and feed him his worms a veggie's from a raised dish.
