lmao....by the look of your profile pic they still look small....wait til they they get bigger 6-7"....i dont come cryin...and bloggin on MFK wonderin why your 4 piranhas died in a small ass tank wahahhahaha

That pic was taken awhile ago. They are 6-9" now and are doing fine for your info. Stop trying to act like you know everything.

I'd recommend you don't keep Red Bellies in a 55g I've done it and its not worth it in my opinion. The more of them you have the better and in a 55 I wouldn't ever consider anymore than 4 and thats stretching it.

I asked the same question a long time ago and got the same answers. You cant put enough Pirahna in a 55 to make it really worth it is what I got out of it. Good luck

a single serra would be fine in a 55 for a pretty long time. they grow pretty fast to 6-7" but then grow very slow after that so you would have plenty have time to get a bigger tank.

I would have to agree with you on that one. I have an elongatus currently in a 55g long myself. Those other options he was suggesting are way outta the question for sure, piranhas get hungry too not sure if the other fish you were suggesting will be able to handle feeding time at that alone.

u could do some wimples in a 55 but u rarly see them for sale thats really the only shoaling "piranha" u could put in a 55 gallon that my 2 cents

4 red bellies in a 55 but not worth it its not enough to have a shoal and there will be lots of fighting. I would say a single serra sanchezi, spilo, even elong for awhile
