So for the last few days my benga sunshine male hasn't been eating. I don't know what the problem is. Can anyone help?

Here's a video of him, does anything look wrong? I'm aware of the "flashing" he doess at the end. That was the only time he has ever done it.

Not eating and flashing are often signs of gill flukes.

Did you ever start doing weekly / bi weekly water changes as I told you to ?

Just tested the water parameters

ph:7.4
gh: 60ppm
kh: 12ppm
nittrite: 0ppm
nitrate: 10ppm
ammonia: 0.25ppm


Does anything seem off about the water? This situation is really starting to annoy me because I don't want to lose a great fish. Should I isolate him in a hospital tank? And if so what should I medicate him with? How often should I test the water?

Nice looking sunshine ! The flashing was not illness related He did that to show off/Be the boss posably to get that female interested . I hate when my new fish do not eat . I would suggest a frozen food like Mysis Shrimp He will defiantly eat that . Is he wild caught or tank raised ? May play factor .

Tank raised, but I've had him for ten months. Btw which one was a female?

At 40sec into but im only judging by appearance I had a female that looked just like that but cant be for sure unless vented
