The meds I gave my little Ornate had some Victory Green in it. =\ Its eye seems to be doing better though.

i read that formalin and malachite green are supposedly great for fungal infections, i.e. ich meds, e.g. Kordon's Rid-Ich, so thats what i use. as preventative i would probably use melafix/pimafix combo.

anyway, fungus lingers so long that most of the time i can't tell if the meds is truly working or not. put it in another way, since its mostly secondary infection, usually as long as the primary infection or the wound is there, the meds don't seem to show clear progress, but i still use it.
