PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON THIS RAY

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
eczs yes it was. john told me the temp was too high. let me add ECZS has just given me advice and that's it. i was going to buy a ray from him but he said he want me to focus on getting this ray healthy first the same thing you told me mike. i really respect a vendor that won't take your money so you can focus on getting another animal that you didn't get from them healthy.
so MIKE@H2O AND JOHN@ECZS SHOUT OUTS TO YOU GUYS:clap:clap:clap

Ahhhh...another vendor gets dragged into the mix. WAS IT ECZS??? I never saw East Coast being said in any post. I've also never seen a skinny ray sold by east coast zoo, and, his Motoro's are $75 and still in Jersey. It's funny how the various sellers like to feed on one another.

I have also been told by him to keep the temp low on rays that I purchased from him in the past. And he's the only one I have ever heard say keep the temp low. By the way who is feeding off of anybody?

I shouldn't have stepped in. My apologies.

It def needs a bigger tank and daily or at least bi-daily water changes. Temp up man. Needs temp higher. Someone, hiccup lol, would say 76 because he doesnt heat his tanks he keeps them at room temp which is probably that. At least 84, bigger tank like 40g breeder would be great, daily water changes, constant black worms IMO would be your best chances

No reason why this should be closed either. Rook is obviously checking in for advice and this thread, even with some bashing, is his best hope in aiding this ray to its best chance of survival

not seeing the improvement in the ray.... try cutting some red wigglers up and throwing them in... also agree on the tank size it should be bumped up to create a more stable enviroment.... good luck to you...

met with rook today man i have to put my 2 cents in...should have never been sold like that..a real shame that a vendor can sell something like that to a mfk member..let alone sell it at all...i hope the ray gets huge..and then we can take its barb and shove it some where

If you look at the spot on it's head on the before and after pic you can see improvement. It looks like it's filling in. It's not healthy, but it's filling in.
