I HAVE 8 FISH ALL PRETTY SMALL 2-3 INCHES GT, FIREMOUTH, JD AND CONS.

EVERY THING IS FINE WITH THE WATER AND THE ENVIRONMENT. ALL THE OTHER FISH EATS THE FOOD THAT I FEED THEM. BUT 1 OF THE 2 GT DOES NOT WANT TO EAT OR DOES NOT SWIM TO THE TOP WHEN IT COMES TO FEEDING TIME. ANY SUGGESTION WHAT I SHOULD DO? BUY SOME OTHER TYPE OF FOOD?

CURRENTLY I'M FEEDING THEM SINKING CHICLIDS PELLETS. THANKS ANY SUGGESSTION GREATLY APPRECIATED..

How big is the tank that you keep them all in?
Maybe he is getting picked on?
How many days has he gone without food?

Not being pick on at all. I think it's now 6 days in a row... total tank size is 55 gallon which for now I think it's ok until they get bigger.

Could be internal parasites, GT are pron to them from what I have heard (hexa something or other I cant remember right now, is very common in small GT's). I actually lost my little GT to them a couple weeks ago, started the same way you describe, stooped eating then got white stringy poo and no mater what I tried nothing seemed to work, He died after my third round of meds to try and save him :(.

You really think it's going to work? When I walk up to the tank all the fish goes to the top except for that one. Something is wrong with him

OH SHIET JAMES WOW YOU HIT THE MARK. I FORGOT TO ADD YES THERE WAS A WHITE STRINGY POO THAT CAME OUT... MAN... SOO NO POINT TO SAVE THE FISH THEN HUH? WHAT IS THAT WHITE STRINGY POO ANY WAYZ?

I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW DID HE/SHE HAVE THAT PARASITE IN HIM? HE WAS PERFECTLY FINE FOR OVER A MONTH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT HAPPENS.

one treatment is piperazine citrate, 0.25 percent, mixed with food and given everyday for 5 to 7 days. is the GT facing the rear of the tank?
