Bear Grylls usually just plucks fish from the water and gives them a good bite behind their head. The "Bear Grylls Method" may not be suitable for all keepers though. J/K...Maybe you should try to treat your fish before you throw in the towel. It could be something very treatable. Have you posted your problem in the disease forum?
