i came home from a doctors appt to find this....hes still swimming but his one eye is stuck right out with red all around. Does anyone know wwhat this can be from?

yA a flordia gar,jewel chiclid,claris cat,senical ....it doesnt look like a bite and nothing ever goes after this fish if anything the convict always chases the jewel chiclid.
it might be a fungus infection it can cause eyes to cloud over and redness. I had this happen to a RTC and it happend fast i would keep a close eye on your fish to she if it gets worst and it it dose get a medication that treats fugus and bacterial just to be safe because they look a lot a like.
It does look alot like a fungus over the eyes, Their both very cloudy but only the one is pushed right out. Will it pass it on to my other fish? And When should i start treating it?
