first off, get a water test kit, API master fresh water test kit is industry standered. Water changes need to be picked up, do you use Prime? when you do water changes, dosed for size of tank, not for amount of water replacing. and forget anything petco ever told you.

ok add prime to the shopping list, you really just need prime and do the water changes. I also suggest you do not use blood worms as main diet. they a treat but really not allot of nutrition in them. what is the size of your fish?

its Seachem prime, petco will have it. saying eartheater is biggest does not tell me how big your fish are. 1" 2" 3" 4" 5", how big are they. makes a dif on what you feed and what your tank stock is at.

Popss is saying get rid of the Nutrafin conditioner and just use Prime when you're changing your water

Yes i am, keep in mind your water can be crystal clear but the toxins are still killing them, that being ammonia and nitrite and nitrate over 20ppm, no matter how clear the water is you need to know what those levels are, petco can not tell you, they use strips witch are useless, please get the prime and get the API master fresh water test kit. if you can not swing the test kit at least get the prime.

How long do you keep your lights on a day? Hard to tell from the pic but it does look like algae. Like everyone else has said, in order for anyone to give you the best possible advice, you need to check your parameters with a reliable test kit and report back.
