I feel like it's a fatf because I have both a batf and fatf, and the fatf's tail seems to be much pointier at the tips and longer then my BATF's tail is. But that just my opinion from owning both of them.

Looks FATF-y to me in those pics as well. It seems to have the pointier head and bigger eyes of a FATF. Also, importantly, the dorsal fin seems to be noticably in front of the pelvic fin insertion which is indicative of FATF. He also appears to lack the grey margin on his adipose fin. Bad pics do make things tricky though. I reserve the right to change my mind on this fish in the future. ;)

Good fish you have there. I like him!

I also heard fatfs are aggressive when bigger?

Mine certainly was, but only to food and fish that looked like ATF. As with most other 'aggressive' species, it probably comes down to the personality of the fish in question. There are VERY few FATF in the hobby so little real info is available.

I would recommend keeping him solo or with totally harmless tank mates until he gets some serious size on him. He looks good right now, I'd guess FATF with the pics shown so far.
