Please help Identify my new Gar.

Hello all I need your help identifying my new Gar. I had it sent to me with my lastest purchase of fish (A Royal clownknife fish, Clown Ghost knifefish and my Gar) and belived I was buying an Alligator Gar but I think I was given a Spotted Gar. The fish has settled in really well and is approximately 10-12cm long.
It has settled into my grow out tank with some Boulengerochromis Mirolepis, Gold gibbies, Cichla. Monoculus, and a Clown GhostKnife.

Not really sure. No pix of the snout? Based on the 1st pix, I'd say Gator. But the other 2 pix point me to Spotted/Florida...

100% gator gar you can trust me. how big is the tank and it's tankmates? i assume you've read up on these beasties?

gator. just a heads up, gators are will try to eat anything they are housed with (whether it is to big or not) and if they cant eat it they will kill it. they are the most aggressive of the gar species.
