Think you mean T rubripes... tiger fugu... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugu oblongus was not even in the t0- 25 for this period.. http://spo.nmfs.noaa.gov/mfr511/mfr51112.pdf this is the best I can do on oblongus but this is just anecdotal background reading... http://eatingwithsimon.blogspot.ca/2007/01/tora-fugu.html I can find citations on both lack there of and +ve of the tetroadon poison for this fish so its not clear cut by any means... The fish is basically estuarine with reports it can do well in fresh water as we have explained on another board.
